Knauf Earthwool Acoustic Partition Rolls are commonly utilized for enhancing masonry wall and concrete tilt panel insulation. The Earthwool® Acoustic Insulation Roll, available in 24kg/m3, 14kg/m3, and 11kg/m3, is a modernized, more comfortable, safer, and environmentally friendly glasswool insulation. Its advanced compression packaging diminishes handling time and the amount of storage space required on-site.
These rolls are odor-free, rot-resistant, non-hygroscopic, do not support vermin, and do not encourage the growth of fungi, mold, or bacteria. With its high resilience, the insulation material quickly recovers to its original thickness for a snug fit and superior finished appearance. The Earthwool Acoustic Partition Rolls are easy to cut, feel good, and can be promptly installed. Additionally, this low-dust product enhances handling and boosts productivity.
Earthwool Acoustic Insulation Roll
The Earthwool Acoustic roll is capable of enhancing Rw ratings in wood stud construction by 3 to 5 decibels and in metal stud construction by 8 to 10 decibels, depending on the wall configuration’s complexity and thickness/density. Suitable for use on both interior and exterior walls, the Earthwool Acoustic roll is specifically designed for light commercial applications.
