Ametalin SilverFloor Foil Insulation is a premium-grade floor insulation solution, built to withstand heavy-duty applications. It is specifically designed to be used beneath floors where a sealed air space exists between the flooring and the enclosed sub-floor area. This innovative product features double-sided reflective surfaces that significantly enhance the R-value of your floor system.
The structure of Ametalin SilverFloor consists of six layers, offering remarkable flexibility. It incorporates anti-oxidant UV-stabilized woven polypropylene and polymer flood coat layers, providing durability and protection. On both sides, it is backed with fire-resistant polymer adhesive and 97% reflective aluminum foil, ensuring optimal performance.
To prevent moisture buildup beneath the flooring, the membrane structure of Ametalin SilverFloor includes 5 mm weep holes spaced at 400mm intervals. These weep holes allow water and water vapor to permeate through, effectively managing moisture and maintaining a dry environment for your flooring.
