While we recommend investing in the highest affordable R-value, we suggest a minimum of R2.0 Acoustic Soundbreak Insulation for rooms and R2.7 Acoustic Soundbreak Insulation for theater rooms. Additionally, installing acoustic batts beneath first-floor children’s bedrooms or playrooms will contribute to creating quieter living spaces.
